It explored the jazz ecosystem and the opportunities for touring throughout Latin America, with a focus on the unique dynamics of the region.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Key players in the Latin American jazz scene took part in the conversation, including Chilean saxophonist <strong>Melissa Aldana<\/strong>; <strong>Natacha Cruz<\/strong>, Director and Founder of the Argentine Jazz Circuit; <strong>Jordi Funtanet<\/strong>, Director of M Jazz Festival and the bar\/venue Parker &amp; Lenox in Mexico City; <strong>Alejandro Orellana<\/strong>, Senior Programming Advisor for M Jazz Chile and Programming Director of WOMAD Chile; <strong>Mar\u00eda Claudia Parias<\/strong>, General Director of the District Institute of the Arts; and <strong>Heloisa Pisani<\/strong>, Director of International Affairs at SESC S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-758326f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"758326f\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-f001e2f\" data-id=\"f001e2f\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-259ac15 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"259ac15\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a packed room, the discussion addressed <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>current state of the jazz ecosystem in Latin America<\/strong>, highlighted some of the territory\u2019s unique characteristics and market challenges, and shared experiences for designing effective tours. In particular, <strong>the importance of working in reciprocity and building horizontal partnerships<\/strong> was emphasized.<\/span><\/p><p><br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The conversation helped position the Latin American region within one of the most important international jazz congresses in the world.
